5 things you can do at the Sydney Royal Easter Show for ZERO DOLLARS

A great day with the family shouldn’t have to break the piggy bank, and the Sydney Royal Easter show has provided the goods to spend time with your loved ones without spending ALL your money.

Woolworth’s Fresh Food Dome

The very best place at the show (in my opinion) to take a look at all kinds of new food and see incredible and gastronomical works of art. Book a free seat at the Woolworth’s Fresh Ideas Kitchen where you will learn all about fresh Australian produce and the best way to use it.

When: Daily

Where: Woolworths Fresh Food Dome

Housed in the Woolworths Fresh Food dome, the Bee-Zeebo is a live action and interactive display that’s the perfect way to teach the little ones how the honey gets from the flowers to your toast. You will even get to sample some!

When: Daily 10.30am, 12.30pm, 2.30pm and 4.30pm

Where: Woolworths Fresh Food Dome

Woodchopping Competition

It definitely wouldn’t be the Sydney Royal Easter Show if you didn’t head down to check out the Woodchopping Competition at the Channel 9 Woodchop Stadium. The Sydney Royal Woodchopping and Sawing Competition has been a feature of the show for over a century and today it’s become the largest event of its kind in the world.

When: 7 – 17 April

Where: Channel 9 Woodchop Stadium

Animal Walk

Here is the perfect place to see all the award winning animals and meet cute and cuddly farmyard friends!

When: All the time!

Where: Animal Walk

Little Hands on the Land

A brand new event at the show this year, Little Hands on the Land is a kid-sized production cycle designed to teach the kids all about life on the farm. You can read more about this event here!

When: Daily 9.30am – 6.30pm

Where: The Daily Telegraph Paddock

Fireworks Display

What better way to top off your day at the Sydney Royal Easter Show than the Fireworks Spectacular. The 2017 theme is ‘Cracker of a Cracker Show’ and it’s set to be a masterpiece of pyrotechnics and drama.

When: Daily 8.50pm

Where: Spotless Stadium
