The Sydney Royal Easter Show has been around for 194 years but that’s no reason to expect the same old exhibits each year! For the first time ever ‘Little Hands on the Land’ will be a feature activity daily from 9:30am-6:30pm, at the Daily Telegraph Paddock.
Little Hands on the Land answers those long lost questions of “How did this broccoli get on my plate?” or “how does the egg get from the chicken onto my toast in the morning?”. This exhibit does so in an interactive, FUN and kid sized production cycle.
Featuring 9 stations children will be taken from ‘a chook shed’ to collect some eggs, ‘a orchard’ to pick an apple, ‘a farmers market’ to see how the trade is made and many more informative and fun ways of experiencing how Australian Farmers get this produce to our dinner tables everyday.
So make sure you put this activity on your to do list for a fun way to see how it gets from the crop to the shop.
