For all the free information you need head down to the The Amphitheatre Lawns. Friendly staff from all the 5 Ombudsman services will be there till 4pm today assisting all seniors’ with any advice they require.
Information about the services provided –
Energy & Water Ombudsman – Provides a free, fair and independent dispute resolution service for all electricity and gas customers in New South Wales, and some water customers.
Financial Ombudsman – Provides accessible, fair and independent dispute resolution for consumers and financial services providers.
Telecommunication Industry Ombudsman – Is a fast, free and fair dispute resolution service for small business and residential customers who have a complaint about their telephone or internet service in Australia. We are independent and do not take sides. Our goal is to settle disputes quickly in an objective and non-bureaucratic way.
Credit & Investments Ombudsman – Provides consumers with a free and impartial dispute resolution service as an alternative to legal proceedings for resolving complaints with their financial services and product providers.
Legal Aid, Advice Advocacy Access – provides legal services to disadvantaged clients across NSW in most areas of criminal, family and civil law. Legal aid also assists people experiencing domestic and family violence.
