For 30 years, Show Radio has been the official pop-up station for the Sydney Royal Easter Show.
Show Radio is brought to you by the Graduate Diploma in Radio and Podcasting students at AFTRS – the Australian Film Television and Radio School.
Thanks to the Royal Agricultural Society, we broadcast live from the Media Centre in the Main Arena for 12 days – capturing the sights and sounds of the Sydney Royal Easter Show.
We celebrate the importance of rural life, especially the essential role that farmers and other primary producers play in putting food on our tables, and, in this 101st anniversary of the Sydney Royal Easter Show, we’ll be highlighting the Royal Agricultural Society’s rich heritage in supporting locals and bringing communities together.
We’ll also be interviewing the Show’s winners, performers, and representatives of the various clubs and societies that make up the rich fabric of this amazing annual event.
Show Radio’s music format is 100% Country, with Australian artists at the center of the playlist.
