Adair SheppardShow Radio 2022
Adair is nerdy about all things podcasting and audio. While her previous experience has mainly been in editing and sound design, she is most excited to get behind the mic and explore the stories and characters the Show has to offer. Before pursuing a career in audio, Adair studied Linguistics and interned at the Macquarie dictionary. As a result, she loves a deep dive and getting really into the weeds with research – she's also excited to learn some new country lingo! If you’re looking for her at the Show your best bet is that she’s at the Woodchopping cheering on her home state of Tasmania!
Nathan TurnerShow Radio 2022
Nathan is an aspiring radio enthusiast. Growing up in Wollongong, Nathan fell in love with the industry when he worked for i98fm’s ‘Street Fleet’ and has since grown to become more interested and involved in all things radio. Nathan has a sport-sensed mind and is passionate about football and rugby league on a local, national and International level. In his spare time you can find him on a football pitch or on the sidelines reporting on local matches. He aspires to work behind the mic in a commercial radio station and have a side hustle of sports commentary and analysis of the weeks round of sport. Although he hasn’t been to the Sydney Royal Easter Show in a few years, he is super keen on trying Petey Pie Bakery’s famous Cheeseburger Pie while washing it down with some freshly squeezed lemonade.
Emily WatersonShow Radio 2022
Liam AchurchShow Radio 2022
I'm an avid fan of radio and a barista, serving up a passion for live broadcasting. Like a cup of coffee, I have enjoyed fuelling audiences with produced features and stories for the past two years on community radio stations including 2SER. A Highlight of my experience is working on 2SER's 'The Daily', a morning to midday program broadcasting community-focused local and national events. Ever since then, I have gown to appreciate radio and enjoyed working in this space. The Sydney Royal Easter Show has ignited my appreciation for country and agriculture, and I'm looking forward to share all I've learnt from behind the microphone, especially all things farming!
Harry HughesShow Radio 2022
I’m an experienced audio producer who’s grown up and lived in Sydney’s south all his life. I have been working as an Audio Producer for Nine Entertainment in their radio division since 2017 and I’m a freelance audio producer. I work with major brands and individuals producing their radio commercials, film sound design, and music production. I’m looking to expand my knowledge of the radio and podcasting industries and grow my experience in podcast sound design/production. I’m an avid photographer and lover of all things technology outside of work. For as long as I can remember, I’ve always had some form of technology in my grasp, whether it be a camera or a computer. I also have a deep love for animals of all sizes, and have immensely enjoyed going to the Sydney Royal Easter Show in the past years.
Tristan BlackShow Radio 2022
I studied law and media at Macquarie University and used to announce and produce for Thursday Drive on 2SER. I've worked in museums and cultural institutions designing school excursions and public programs for 11 years, and as the current Head of Learning at Sydney's Anzac Memorial, I have implemented my love of audio to create audio plays, classroom audio lessons and sound design for live theatre. I'm also an actor and voice over artist specialising in character voices, so if you ever need someone to do a silly voice, please reach out. I love to chat to people and learn about their lives, and at this year's Sydney Royal Easter Show, I'll be looking for a novelty food item that tops the deep-fried lasagne I tried in 2019.
Keegan BrownShow Radio 2022
While across the airwaves I could be the difference between a torrential downpour on a stormy afternoon and the break in the clouds that reveals a rainbow. With almost 2 years experience on Community Radio at 2SSR I'm no stranger to a segment going sideways and I'm an enthusiast of living in the moment behind the microphone. A drop of entertainment and a dash of information is my preferred prescription to dial in a smile, but during Show Radio I'm sure I'll be accidentally attacked by a goat.
Kiana HarveyShow Radio 2022
Kiana is a producer currently working at KIIS 1065, specialising in promotional activity with a background in both radio and television broadcasting. Charismatic and with a knack for social trends, she loves to immerse herself in all things entertainment and pop culture. Prior to radio, Kiana worked for Channel 7's 'Sunrise' wearing many hats including producer, event manager and the show's character - The Sunrise Cash Cow. Now back in radio after a television stint, she is looking forward to putting her knowledge and skills for entertainment and broadcast into practice to resonate audiences to entertain and inspire listeners. As for the The Sydney Royal Easter Show, she is most looking forward to devouring the many various foods on a stick.
Campbell MooreShow Radio 2022
My first foray into the world of radio began when I first started at my university’s student radio, creating a show entirely based around biscuits. I quickly found a passion for radio and loved the excitement of live broadcasts. Based in Newcastle, I have worked on producing and presenting my own radio programs for last 3 years, with a focus on another of my passions, the local Newcastle music scene. I work as a freelance podcast editor, sound producer and audio engineer. In my spare time I enjoy playing my piano, listening to records, and going to live gigs. This will be the first time I’ve ever attended the Sydney Royal Easter Show, so I’m particularly excited to take in all that this massive event has to offer (especially the food).
Jonathan PearsonShow Radio 2022
My radio journey started at just 13 through Community radio in Adelaide, spending the next 10 years immersing myself in all thing’s audio. Moving into the finance world and to Sydney the dream was parked for a while. Despite juggling a full-time role and kids after a 20-year hiatus I am back to doing what I love, making audio. Passionate content creator, so happy to be joining the team and enjoying lots of cheese toasties throughout the broadcast.
Angela TjeuwShow Radio 2022
I have followed my heart into radio having spent the last twenty years as a doctor. I'm passionate about all things audio and sharing stories that build connection, compassion and communities. Outside of work, I love to sing (though there is often much protest about this at home) and I'm mum to two cheeky girls and a mud-loving Cavoodle called Charlie. You would most likely find me indulging in a hot scrumptious scone (or two) at the CWA tea room. I look forward to chatting with you!
