Fenella JamiesonShow Radio 2021
Fenella grew up in Narrabri NSW and has just moved to Sydney to pursue her interest in radio, podcasting and storytelling. Fenella can’t wait to check out the yabbies at the show and have a chat with people from all around Australia.
Brenton LarneyShow Radio 2021
Born on the gold coast, Brenton is an aspiring podcaster and producer, from working in community radio to hosting a music podcast. He’s all about telling stories! Brenton can’t wait to try all the amazing food that The Sydney Royal Easter show has on offer, he might even go on a ride or two. In his spare time, you can often find Brenton at the footy supporting any Queensland team or at a gig with friends. Who would I bring to the show? Would definitely be my best friend Ciarra because she hates rides!
Helena EllisShow Radio 2021
Helena is from Sydney, Australia. She is currently a touring DJ and Co-Host on The Edge 96.1FM's nightly hip hop show “K Sera & The Dirty Dozen”. Helena aspires to continue her path further in music and radio, merging her two passions into one. Erielle SudarioShow Radio 2021
Erielle Sudario is a creative freelancer from Western Sydney with aspirations to work in the journalism and media industry. Prior to her studies in AFTRS, Erielle has worked with SBS Australia, 2SER, Western Sydney University, TedxParramatta, just to name a few. Erielle wishes that her stories not only educate but also inspire change one way or another. Outside of her career, you will see her roaming around the online space. You can follow Erielle through her Twitter (@Cutiejea1). Who Erielle would like to bring to the show is her boyfriend as he's from Victoria and has never experienced the Sydney Royal Easter Show.
Charlie MellerShow Radio 2021
Charlie is a big audio nerd, and lover of all things podcast and radio. He’s come from making content at 2SER in Sydney, and is looking forward to telling some of the many unique stories that live at the Sydney Royal Easter Show. His favourite thing at the show is the Baby Puppy Competition.
Frazer JohnsonShow Radio 2021
Frazer is an aspiring podcaster and multimedia journalist. Before coming to radio: Frazer studied political science, worked on a dairy farm, dropped out of law school, picked blueberries, and shovelled mulch on a permaculture farm. He’s a work in progress, but if you ask him what he was born to do, he’ll tell you that it was to herd sheep in the highlands of Ethiopia. In the future, he hopes to produce work that encourages openness and curiosity.
Charles GoodsirShow Radio 2021
Charles is an aspiring journalist who has a keen interest in sports, music and film. On any given weekend, you can find Charles playing sport, commentating on sport or barracking for his favourite teams. Charles has worked as a journalist for The Sydney Morning Herald, NEAFL and has most recently joined Cluch TV as a broadcaster and commentator. Nickname: Fridge Favourite quote: Go Crom! Most anticipated event at the Sydney Royal Easter Show: Woodchopping.
Lachlan BrickleyShow Radio 2021
Lachlan grew up on the far-south coast and has recently moved from Melbourne to Sydney. Lachie has a Marketing background and is a current AFTRS student with aspirations to work as a radio presenter. Outside of class, Lachie enjoys spending time with friends and going to live music gigs. This will be Lachie’s first Sydney Royal Easter Show so he’s looking forward to experiencing as much food and rides his stomach can handle.
Maybelle LinShow Radio 2021
Maybelle has a history in content creation, copywriting, and editing. With a client history including RSPCA NSW, TAFE, as well as a range of print and digital media, she is now moving into the radio and podcast field. In her spare time, she melts back into her nerdy self, thanks to a keen interest in fiction books, table-top games and corporate philanthropy.
Olivia HilShow Radio 2021
There’s never a quiet moment with Olivia, otherwise known as Lu. After her Bachelor of Music and Sound Design (UTS) she wanted to continue into the world of Radio. She is combining her passion for local music and talkative nature through her studies at AFTRS. When she isn’t listening or editing audio you can find her playing the drums in her band, Tawny Port. The Sydney Royal Easter Show is her favourite time of year and is anticipating the Rodeo events!
Owen DaviesShow Radio 2021
Owen has joined AFTRS after a brief career in the marketing and advertising industry, most recently running a Social Media Startup. A passion for all content creation and experience in community radio, Owen is keen to see what 2021 serves up. When he isn’t working away on a podcast or studying hard you’ll find Owen exploring what Sydney has to offer so he can decide once and for all which is better, Melbourne or Sydney. Who I would like to bring to the show is my parents - maybe they'd pay for the rides then?
Patrick ReesShow Radio 2021
Paddy is an aspiring sports broadcaster that is starting his media career at AFTRS. Paddy grew up in Wollongong right near the beach, spending his days surfing, fishing and playing sports. Whilst sport is his main passion, Paddy also has an interest in the comedy scene. You'll find Paddy at the show engrossed in the wood chopping, competing intensely in the carnival games or tucking into some chips on a stick.
Rebekah WagstaffShow Radio 2021
Growing up in Sydney, Bek is a regular Sydney Royal Easter Show attendee. After working in radio promotions, Bek started at AFTRS to pursue her love for and develop her skills in radio and podcasting. Bek loves all things Australian music, and will never say no to a gig or music festival. This year Bek is excited to explore the show behind the scenes to create and produce exciting content for all to enjoy.

Sam has been a community radio DJ for ten years from Triple U FM in Nowra his love of music and all things comedy makes him very excited to be part of the show radio team He can't wait to get around the food and showbags at The Sydney Royal Easter Show
Scott LeekShow Radio 2021
Scott is an Actor, Voice-over Artist and aspiring Broadcaster. Scott’s love of radio started as an eight year old. Nights were raunchy, with Kyle and Jackie O on 2Day, and mornings were spent ‘not quite getting all the jokes’ with Wendy Harmer. Fast forward 15 years, now a trained (read: struggling) actor, Scott spent two years as a removalist. Early mornings in the truck were a battle between Triple R and Triple M, before bringing it home in the evening with Double J. Storytelling for Scott is a passion. He values stories that are compelling, characterful and authentic. He believes in creating a space where vulnerability is celebrated and nourished. Scott wants to tell stories in environmental conservation, the arts and human interest.
Thomas DenhamShow Radio 2021
Trailblazing from the Dandenong Ranges in Melbourne, Tom is an aspiring content creator, broadcaster and podcast producer. With a deep passion for audio storytelling, Tom has produced podcasts from audio fiction (The Glam Gizmo) to panel discussion (Right On Track). Tom is currently the Podcast Manager at SYN Media and has previously been the Executive Producer of several flagship radio programs. Tom can’t wait to feast his eyes (and stomach) at the cake competition at the Sydney Royal Easter Show and can be found on the grounds searching for the next best story.
Thomas ReeveShow Radio 2021
Passionate about all things music and radio, Tom hosts the Wednesday Write-Up, a weekly music segment focusing on the most exciting up and coming new music. Tom can't wait to scare himself silly on several of the rides at The Sydney Royal Easter Show, before trying all of the incredible food afterwards- specifically in that order.
Natalie AgiusShow Radio 2021
Natalie is a Radio Presenter on Community Radio, works on a National Switchboard and previously a Swimming Teacher. Natalie grew up in North Western Sydney also known as the land of the Darug Tribes. Natalie is Maltese and a proud Indigenous woman with her ancestors from both Darug and Wiradjuri sides. Outside of work and study Natalie is a dancer, currently learning aerial dancing, she loves music, spending her time with her family and her puppy – along with that she loves the world of TV and movie pop culture. Natalie is super excited about the Easter Show she cannot wait to visit the petting farm and seeing the little piglets.
Ken ParkerShow Radio 2021
Ken, aka kp, currently produces and presents his own radio show on a professionally run Community Radio Station (SWR Triple 9 - 99.9 fm) in Western Sydney Saturday evenings from 10 pm to Midnight, playing Rock, Blues and Reggae. Also was involved in preparing and presenting the Community Show on Saturday afternoons. Ken has also had to fill in for other shows and adjust to that show's format and present what is advertised in the Station's Program Guide. Ken is ex Air Force and when stationed in Malaysia, and on his off days, worked on the Air Force's Radio Station - RRB (RAAF Radio Butterworth) but he was not on air at the time. Ken has lived and worked in various countries and currently works full time within the Department of Defence in Sydney.
Charlie Hearn-SarchfieldShow Radio 2021
Charlie is an on air presenter and content producer. Living in Sydney his whole life Charlie grew up with a family exposing him to all kinds of art forms whether that was acting, music or dance. That doesn't mean he was good at any of these. Well, dancing that is. Always knowing he wanted a job in media after finishing school, Charlie stumbled upon the world of radio after stumbling upon AFTRS. Charlie wants to help share stories of individuals that often aren't told. His interests include listening to every album ever recorded and watching every movie ever made, and keeping up with current pop culture. Charlie hopes in future to work as a presenter creating entertaining content but, for now, he's excited to experience the world of Show Radio!
Mark Brook2021 Show Radio
Mark is a writer, producer and multimedia journalist from Sydney. He currently works as a digital content creator for an entertainment and lifestyle brand and has worked in several newsrooms, TV networks and radio stations. He previously produced and co-presented a health and wellness show and weekly movie review show. When he isn’t on-air or penning his next feature, Mark enjoys sampling the finer things in life and catching up with friends. His goal for this year’s Easter Show is to brave the Horror House and pet a pig... or a goat!
Camille Thomson2021 Show Radio
Camille is a science communicator and podcaster. She loves pushing the buttons... just not the big red one!!
Gary Jones2021 Show Radio
After 35 years in Film and Television Gary is trying his hand at radio. Gary has worked as a Promoter for World Music artists and has done Yoga Teacher training in India. Gary's favourite show food is cheese sampling (not the blue cheeses!) and he'd be pretty happy with CWA scones, jam and cream too. Can they could be delivered to the commentary box? Gary would like to bring someone to the show who could get him into the stables. He always wanted to be a stable hand.
Grace Rouvray2021 Show Radio
Grace is an actor, writer and post production producer from Albury / Wodonga. She is the creator and writer of Netflix comedy series 600 Bottles Of Wine. She wrote and performed Hour of Power stand up series and as a recipient of the Celsius Grant for new work in conjunction with Hothouse Theatre, Grace spent February 2021 writing her first play, Growing Down. Grace is a curious storyteller in all mediums be that acting, writing, comedy and now the exciting world of audio. She looks forward to meeting a real-life Wood Chopper at this year's Royal Easter Show!
Mel Maltby2021 Show Radio
Mel comes from an extensive educational background ranging from Musical Theatre to Sound Production, eventually ending up studying Radio Broadcasting and finding her voice. With a love for all things music and media, radio became a natural progression for Mel’s career path. Mel has experience in the media industry starting with working in the Australian Radio Network street team, completing a Podcast Internship, and starting up her own Podcast called Survey Says. Mel hopes to progress a professional career as a Producer and/or on-air Announcer and is looking forward to hands-on experience in these roles during Show Radio.
Megan Hui2021 Show Radio
Megan works in Promotions and Social Media Digital content and Video creation for C91.3FM in South-Western Sydney. Her passion for story-telling in all forms stems from her love of acting, film & television. She studied at the National Institute of Dramatic Art and at the Australian Film, Theatre and Television School. Megan is positively beside-herself with excitement of what the challenge that Show Radio will bring and looks forward to soaking up every second. The Sydney Royal Easter Show is filled with many cherished childhood memories of Megan’s and she is so honoured to make many more of them this year.. but this time as part of the Show Radio Team. Giddy Up, Yee-Haw!
Sandya Veduri2021 Show Radio
As a little girl Sandya grew up in India listening to a lot of stories and has always had a passion to be a storyteller. She is currently working in IT, but is also learning the art of engaging an audience through AFTRS. She is excited about the prospect of all the rides, food, and animals at the Sydney Royal Easter Show. It is an event that brings so many things together. Sandy says it's also a splendid chance to listen to country farmers' journeys and stories too. She'll be bringing her kids to the Show as they enjoy feeding the animals and eating delicious food.
Rob Kaldor2021 Show Radio
Rob is a professional podcaster and marketing consultant finally fulfilling his broadcasting dream by studying at AFTRS. When he's not driving his three teenagers or hassling AFTRS lecturers, he is producing branded podcasts for companies and walking his 17-year-old dog Pepper. He has never been to the Easter show at Homebush but did spend his misspent youth at the Show when it was at Moore Park. He is excited to purchase a showbag with black jellybeans and visit the dog show!
