Roving reporting gets you to know about so many new things and enjoy great experiences. Easter Saturday I got to experience some I never expected to to be doing at the Sydney Royal Easter Show. Jumping into the Bee-Zeebo box with Steve Fuller from the NSW Apiarists Association Inc down from Gratfton, NSW. He is there to show and teach the audience which consistent mostly of little children parents how to smoke the bees. He also told me how to take out stings which is an important thing to know if you are in there with hundreds of bees!
Steve also was able to show me where the Baby Bees are in the Hive you and can see him pointing them out here below. These are called Brood. The Male Bee doesn’t have a sting Steve said he is there just to have sex and eat and once he mates he dies..a short lived existence for those Male Bees.
