You can get all that at Talk and Taste, a free interactive event at the Sydney Royal Easter Show that runs every day, every hour, on the hour at the Woolworths Fresh Food Dome. Two Sydney Royal Fine Foods medal winners get to showcase their product each day.
Lyndey Milan, a TV Chef and cookbook author is one of the hosts of Talk and Taste. She is also responsible for starting The Fine Food Awards in 1998, and she’s passionate about helping small producers shine.
“So I host them, I explain what Sydney Royal Competitions are and then the producers explain their product and where they’re from, and we do tastings so the special moments for me are when at the end of the day the producers say wow, when they’ve sold out of their product or when they’ve made a connection, it’s their happiness that makes me happy.”
