Here at Show Radio, we love the country life and we fall more in love with it with each person we speak to. One of my personal favourite elements of country life is: FASHION. Especially BOOT FASHION. Today I asked you to send in your favourite boots. I’ve already received an image of some stunning Blundstone boots and can’t wait to see more. Don’t let the shiny, unscathed boots pictured above fool you in fact, I think the more worn – the better!
The Easter show is a boot lover’s heaven. Not only can you catch boot makers like RM Williams and Ugg (yes Uggs are boots. I’ll allow it) But you can also have a cheeky look at all the boots being worn by real country folk. Just exercise some discretion and try not to creep anyone out by staring too long. If you are confident enough, why not go up to John or Jenny and ask them about their boots? Every boot has a story, especially country worn boots.
Boots n’ country go together like Chalk and Cheese. Unless you’ve walked all your life on cement or tiles, you know that the raw earth is rough on the human foot.
Country folk know this all too well. I challenge you to head out to a rural area and find someone not wearing boots outside, especially while working. If you find that person not wearing boots, check to see if their feet are human feet and not made of steel. I knew a guy with steel feet once but that’s another article.
