COVID At The Show: Do I Have To Wear A Mask? Can I Use Cash?

So it’s been a year of masks, distancing, checking in and all the little things that come with a global pandemic. But how is going to affect the show this year? Do I have to wear a mask? Will my temperature be checked? Can I use cash at the Show? Figuring out these things ahead of time can be tricky, and worrying about them can be stressful.

Thankfully the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW have released all the information you need to plan an amazing, COVID safe day at the show:

If you’re worried about wearing a mask, there’s no need! At this time masks are not compulsory on site during The Sydney Royal Easter Show. Plus if you’re more comfortable using cash, that’s fine although the RAS are encouraging contactless. Your temperature won’t be tested at the show, and all lines will be socially distanced.

It’s important to acknowledge that things will feel different at the show this year, however the RAS does want to stress that no matter what, you will be safe at the Show this year.
