Why are bulls being paraded around like dogs at the Sydney Royal Easter Show?
Earlier on in the Easter Show, my friend Molly and I were perusing the cattle pavilion in search of a story.
I was gawking at the stocky bulls standing side by side, bums to us, hopping over manure, admiring the generations of cattle farmers, all huddled in their groups, having a yarn, when I came across dear, sweet Eliza grooming her bulls. I decided to get out of my comfort zone and ask Eliza about her job, and being a city slicker, I had no idea where that conversation was going to end up, but I did learn a thing or two about what the bulls were doing at the show.
