It’s not all about blue ribbons and medals in the Pet Pavilion, there are some cats on show who are looking for their new families. The Cat Sanctuary has brought along several of their hopeful adoptees to the Sydney Royal Easter Show and are inviting showgoers to come and get acquainted.
Volunteers from the Cat Sanctuary welcome enquiries as much as cuddles, as the welfare of the animals is the foremost priority in matching their cats and kittens to their humans.
Cat Topp, the sanctuary’s CEO, ensures that the cats available for adoption are well socialised and are suitable for families with children and even dogs, with many of the cats spending time playing with puppies when they’re not charming crowds at the Sydney Royal Easter Show.
Eloura (pictured above) is a timid, but friendly 5 month year old silver tabby who is available for ear rubs, and is just one of the cats waiting patiently to meet her new people.
