Hot off their massively successful wedding in 2011 (it was so good it was commemorated in coin form!) newly married Will and Kate did what all good couples should and paid a visit to the Sydney Royal Easter Show. The talk of their presence spread like wildfire through the show as everybody wondered where they would pop up, what regional foods they would try, and whether Kate would actually be throwing her hat into the ring and competing in the wood chopping.
Or at least, I assume that’s how it went.
I wasn’t around for Will and Kate’s visit to the Easter Show. I never got to experience the electric buzz of having two celebrities wandering the same pavilions as I was. I felt like I had missed out entirely.
So that’s why this year I spent one free morning trying to recapture that feeling by spreading a rumour around the show that a different celebrity was making an appearance! And after getting in the ear of as many punters as possible, I called one in to the studio to see how far my rumour had spread…
