The national winner of the 2023 secondary schools RAS AB Paterson Bush Poetry Award is Brooke Chapman. Brooke who is in Year 10 hails from Grafton in Northern NSW and as the winner recited her poem to the large crowd in the centre of the Main Arena at the Sydney Royal Easter Show earlier this week. Brooke was awarded first prize by the great great grandson of Banjo Paterson for her piece “Love Poem to the Bush.”
