From first kisses, to getting showbag content confiscated at school, there are countless memories to be made at the Sydney Royal Easter Show. Lindsey asked the public about their fondest memories from the show.
‘I had my first kiss at the easter show when I was 14, and it was on the Ferris Wheel. And for a very long time, that was the best kiss of my life.’
‘I remember at the Easter Show when I was a kid – the deep-fried cheese sticks. It was the only time my dad ever let me have a toffee apple!’
‘I remember getting a Ninja Turtles showbag that had plastic versions of their weapons in it … nun-chucks and swords. They were very floppy and not dangerous, but I did still bring them to school, and they did get taken off me. They weren’t allowed within school grounds, but I got to play with them from home. I kept them for years, until they were falling apart.’
