The Sydney Royal Arts and Crafts Show is on every day of the Easter Show at the Arts & Crafts Pavillion.
One of the crafts displayed is quilling, the art of rolling thin strips of paper into circles of different sizes, and pinching them into different shapes. Shapes upon shapes are assembled to create beautiful pictures. The quilling displays include colourful giraffes made through pinching paper into tear-drop shapes, a green dragon, and even some 3D creations such as flowers in pots and a terrarium!
Many of the quilled pieces have been submitted by members of the Sydney Quillers Group, who meet up regularly in Revesby. Anybody interested in attending the group meetings can head to facebook.com/sydneyquillersgroup for more information.
