Today the Angus bulls paraded around the Cattle Judging Lawn and, putting their best hoof forward, they impressed judges and spectators alike.
These magnificent beasts are a testimony to the breed, and the dedicated farmers who put their hearts and passion into showing off the best the Angus breed has to offer.
2019 coincides with Angus Australia’s celebrations of 100 years as a society and the Angus breed is the featured breed of the Royal Easter Show.
We spoke to Graham Gilmore of TattyKeel who is a third-generation farmer and an avid Angus breeder from Oberon. Perhaps one of the most interesting facts about Grahams stud is that he imports frozen cattle embryos from Canada.
