With the recent floods that affect multiple people rural areas of NSW, help and support is all they need.
S.T.A.N.D. (aka: Support Through Australian Natural Disaster) is a fundraising campaign by Woolworths, with support from Salvation Army, Rural Aid, Lifeline, Foodbank, to help those in affected Regional Areas.
In 2019, Salvation Army and Woolworths spent time on the NSW South Coast to checked in to those affected in the bushfires. In 2020, Woolworths Spring Water raised $20 million dollars and provided equipment for communities in need. Just recently, STAND donated $100 000 for those affected by the recent floods with the help of Woolworths Supermarket customers.
How can we show support?
You can show support by donating directly through the Woolworths webpage as well as just supporting the local farms in the Sydney Royal Easter Show. You can also go to your local Woolworths Supermarket and see if they’re involved in any current fundraising campaigns.
