A Cheesy Romantic’s Guide To The Sydney Royal Easter Show

If you’re like me, you fantasise bringing your significant other to the Sydney Royal Easter Shoe. I mean, there’s so much to do, so much to see… so many activities for a date. But where to start? Where is the first place to go? Where is the best place to eat? Don’t worry, I have you covered! Here is the cheesy romantic’s guide to the Sydney Royal Easter Show?

The Meet Up

The best place to meet up is in front of the Sydney Olympic Park Station. It’s a good common area as not only you’re near the location, but it’s somewhat reminiscent to what’s seen in romance movies. Also, it’s easier to find each other in open-spaced location.

The Activities

You don’t want to miss out on all the different activities the Sydney Royal Easter Show has to offer. From rides to animal walks, you have so many options to choose from. If you’re into rides, Coca-Cola Carnival is the place for you. If you want to see the animals, there are various animal pavilions around the Showgrounds. Like I said, you have options to choose where you’d like to go.

Fun dating fact: Horror movies apparently are good for finding out if you’re compatible with your partner. With that being said… haunted house anyone?

The Food

Anything but this

DON’T GET A CHEESE TOASTIE!!! Don’t get food on a stick either!!!

You need to think outside of the box to impress your date and cheap food isn’t an option. Food in a stick??? REALLY?!?!

My best suggestion – if you’re in a budget, get crepes, located near the Sheep Pavilion. But if you want to go all out, The Stables is the spot for you, located near the Noodle Market.

How To End The Date

There are different ways to end the date. You could walk around the 10Shake Animal Walk. You could also buy a showbag. But I believe that most romantic way to end the night is on the Ferris wheel! Just the privacy and that you get to see the view high up, I believe that’s the best way to end a date in the Sydney Royal Easter Show.

If you want to imagine living through this experience, we’ve created an intimate audio podcast that you can listen to right now!
