In an act of jealousy, top show cat Mr. B has had the claws put into him in a post-show cat-nip craze. The cat-fight started after runner up ‘Marvelous Momo’ crept up on the ribbon winner. Judges and cat owners were quick to jump in and pull the show cats off each other. One judge now dons lifelong memorabilia of the event in the form of a scar on the right hand. Both cats came away from the fight with minimal damage, except maybe a bruised ego and plentiful regret from Momo.
The cat show itself was fierce, with over 300 cats from around the country in it to win the Grand Prize and being named best in show. Many were surprised by Mr B. taking out the competition, the old cat of 16 years was looking very minimalistic, but the judges couldn’t look past his delightful bowtie and unignorable suave.
