We’re still awaiting the test results from the lab as to whether a pig can actually grow wings and fly. But we’re quietly confident they probably can.
As for flying on jet planes, yes it’s true: PIGS CAN FLY!
The pig, Kevin Bacon (no, not Kevin Bacon, the lazy pig from the famous Grounds of Alexandria and also the most popular pig in Sydney aside from Peppa).
The Kevin Bacon that flew was from the U.S.A. In the year 2000 his owners insisted that Bacon was their therapeutic pet. An official letter from the owners doctor was enough to get Bacon onto three First Class seats.
Kevin Bacon grew restless after take-off (he’s just like us!) and was able to break free from his three plush seats to begin roaming about the cabin for food. I hope pork wasn’t on the in-flight menu….
On touch-down, Kevin naturally freaked out (he’s just like us!) and charged about the cabin. He was lured off the flight with canapés and champagne. So unfair! A human gets locked up and a pig gets drunk and more fat.
