Team work makes the dream work. And in this case, dance schools from across NSW have been gathering as a united unit to put on a show each day for show-goers here at the Sydney Royal Easter Show.
This year, over 90 dance schools will be taking to the stage and showing us their best moves, tricks and stunts to wow audiences each day. From tiny tots to open age, jazz to tap and everything in between, there is something for everyone to check out and have a dance to from the seats of the audience!
Whilst the performances may only be a few minutes per dance, it takes hours of preparation, dress rehearsals and choreography to put on a show. From our dancers putting in hours of their time into dance classes, costume designers pulling together amazing costumes to catch the eye, dance teachers spending countless hours away from their families in the studio choreographing and mixing music together and the parents driving the kids to their classes and rehearsals; it truly does take a village.
