Every year the Sydney Royal Easter Show hosts the Show Bag Pavilion located close to the entry point, and this year is one of the biggest and best. This is a bumper 200th Anniversary year and you have a plethora of treats and toys for every age.
The ShowBag is uniquely an Australian invention, which originated in the early 1900s – offering Showgoers free treats. However, in the 1920s, as production costs mounted the bags became too much for companies, so they had to be sold to cover the production costs and the owners started to actually make some profit seeing that potential.
