What a wild, fun week I’ve had here at Show Radio: Special Edition. ‘Special’ is a very appropriate word to sum up this experience for me. I’m sad it’s over but excited because I can’t wait to tackle the next challenge at AFTRS radio.
Learning more about country life in Australia and having the privilege to interview some of its extraordinary people has been a true highlight of the week for me. But most of all, I have most enjoyed getting to spend those lightning fast hours with you, the listener, on air. Connecting with you is what I came to AFTRS to do and its been an extremely rewarding experience and I can’t wait to do it again!
A huge thank-you to my colleagues with whom I’ve shared the air with this week. You’re all stars and what an honour to get to work along side you. We’ve had immense support from some industry professionals and our AFTRS staff – thank you all for your guidance!
I’m taking away from this week a growing affection for rural Australia and the beautiful beast that is Radio.
