The NSW Minister for Agriculture Adam Marshall spoke to our morning announcer Brooke Taylor saying now farming communities have a powerful voice in politics as the drought crisis and farmers stories of anxiety, fear and resilience intensify.
Mr Marshall’s presence at the Sydney Royal Easter Show is vital as the country and city come together to celebrate Australian culture, from rural traditions to the modern-day lifestyle.
Minister Marshall said it is an exciting and critical time for Australian agriculture with things to celebrate and many issues to be solved.
Adam Marshall was sworn into the NSW Parliament and took up his Ministry on 2 April, 2019 and he said he has been extremely busy adjusting to his new role.
