The Show Must Go On – How The Sydney Royal Easter Show Made This Year Possible?

Last year, the Sydney Royal Easter Show was cancelled due to the pandemic, making it the 3rd time the show wasn’t able to go on. While the cancellation in 2020 was understandable, it was also upsetting to not only the public but also the staff and stakeholders involved.

But fortunately, the Sydney Royal Easter Show is able to continue this year thanks to the corporation with the public, frontline workers, and government and health officials in keeping control of the spread before it got any worse.

But to let this year’s event come to fruition, so much action and changes had to be done in order for the event to be Covid safe according to the NSW Health’s advice.

Head of Project Development for the Royal Agriculture Society of NSW, Jonathan Seward, joins Erielle Sudario as they discuss what had to be done in order for the show to go on.
