Witness the pain of “Black Summer”

Australia has witnessed devastating bushfires this year 2020 starting from June last year. It killed nearly 33 people and made many homeless. Thousands of animals lost their lives for nature’s wreck. More than 1 billion animals like birds, reptiles lost their lives in blazes. NSW is the most affected area which extended the summer from December to February.

It created intense pain in each one of us destroying about 25 million acres which are equal to the size of South Korea. Firestorms are not new for Australia. Planning things by the government would have avoided the search of Bushfire volunteers at the last minute.

Australia is recovering from a nationwide bushfire emergency. When habitat is lost, our wildlife suffers. It’s estimated over 1.25 billion animals may have been killed directly or indirectly from the fires so far, including thousands of koalas, kangaroos, wallabies, birds and other iconic wildlife. Your support is needed to care for injured wildlife and restore their homes.
