On the surface, we see stunt drivers as people who do these crazy drifts and flips on the field. They drive to the extreme and we are in awe in the driving spectacle they present!

But outside of the thrills that they present, these are professional drivers who practice for months and months to perfect the stunts we see not only in events such as the Sydney Royal Easter Show but also in the media like movies and commercial.
I got the chance to speak with Paul Goodwin, a professional stunt driver for 20 years, who not only he does show for events like the Sydney Royal Easter Show, but is also involved in movies such as The Maze Runner and the Oscar winning film – Mad Max.
We sat down after his show and asked how dangerous his profession is and what it takes to be a stunt driver.
You can catch Paul Goodwin and his team showcasing their stunts over on The Giants Stadium every 12:10pm and 7:50pm. Their show is called ‘David & Goliath Trophy Kart Challenge’ and it’s something worth seeing for yourselves.
