The life of a racing greyhound can be hard. The career of a greyhound unfortunately is short, and after they retire, finding a home can be tricky. That’s where Greyhounds As Pets (GAP) come in. GAP is an incredible not-for-profit initiative that prides itself on finding the perfect forever home for retired greyhounds.
The thing that makes GAP special however this the amount of work they put in to matching each greyhound with it’s perfect owner, as well as providing each new greyhound parent with support in caring for their new family member.
GAP loves to stress that greyhounds are NOT as high maintenance as you might think, mostly they love to lounge, and only need a 15-20 minute walk a day.
