The Ride Before The Rides: Getting To The Show

Getting to the show is important because well… if you don’t, you won’t be there!

Below is ALL the details you’ll need on getting to the show

Public Transport

Details on extra services and major event buses running during the Show, plus additional transport options are available at transportnsw.info. You can plan your trip using the Trip Planner up to two weeks before you visit the Show.

Please note, to meet contact tracing requirements for the NSW Government, tickets to the 2021 Show do not include travel on public transport.

You’ll need to use an Opal card or contactless payment method when travelling on all public transport to and from the Show. Register your details via the Opal website or app ahead of time.

By train

Express and limited stop trains will run regularly to Olympic Park from Central Station and western line stations during the Show. You can also consider driving and parking at a nearby station commuter car park and continuing your trip into Olympic Park on the train. Alternatively Olympic Park is approximately 15 minutes’ walk from Concord West station.

By bus

Sydney Olympic Park Major Event buses will run on all nine routes each day of the Show. Services start from around 7am and run every 15 to 20 minutes with more frequent services during the morning and afternoon peaks.

By ferry

You can also catch a ferry to Olympic Park Wharf where you can connect with a regular route bus to get to the precinct.

On foot

The closest train station to the Sydney Royal Easter Show is Olympic Park. Sydney Olympic Park is a short 15 minute flat walk from Concord West Train station, or a 25 minute walk from Lidcombe Station.

Parking

Parking at Sydney Olympic Park will be in high demand during the Sydney Royal Easter Show and car parks are likely to reach capacity. You can guarantee a space and save on the daily rate by pre-booking your parking ticket. Pre-booked parking through Sydney Olympic Park is $20 for the whole day.
